Letters concerning Crosby's intention to write an account of the life of H.E. Robinson, a member of the first California State Convention. Three letters (April 1880, 2 Feb. 1881, and undated) are addressed to Robinson's daughter, Mrs. Caroline M. Roberts of Yonkers, NY. Two other undated letters are addressed to an unidentified man. The final item in the folder is a brief four page account of Robinson's life.
